Iain has been working in the electronic security industry for over 35 years, his entire working life. Prior to starting Innovation Security Systems, Iain worked within two large independent local companies.

Iain Billingham
Managing Director / Sales Engineer
Iain decided that a new dynamic approach to the industry was required and opened Innovation Security Systems in 2001. He aimed to provide top-quality security systems using the best possible equipment backed up with excellent customer service. These values are still very much at the heart of what he works to deliver today.
In his spare time, Iain enjoys travelling, keeping a marine aquarium and aviating, having gained his private pilot’s licence in 2017.
Dan Puttnam
Field Engineer
Dan is responsible for day-to-day upgrades, services and installations of our range of intruder alarm systems. Dan has 26 years experience within the electronic engineering sector.
Dan previously worked worldwide in the cruise ship industry before returning to his home town of Northampton and joining the Innovation Security Systems team in 2019.
In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the culinary delights of his wife’s homemade curries.
Ben Dodds
Field Engineer
Ben is in the process of completing his electrician’s training and has more than 15 years of installation and service experience.
He is a skilful installer and maintainer of our security systems and a friendly member of our team.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys mountain biking and loves nothing more than the thrill of a downhill bike trail.
Paul Weston
Field Engineer
Paul has been working within the electronic security industry for more than 39 years. As a part-time member of the staff, Paul is always ready to assist with larger installation projects. Paul also helps cover the emergency call-out rota when needed.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys rugby and is a governor at a local school.
